Están para conmovedor

This past week the sideshow has been: Mexican trucks get U.S. visa. I have been listening for over a month to Open Road on XM171 radio satellite network about this NAFTA rule that took effect yesterday. While their complaints about Mexican trucks having free access to American and Canadian highways they failed to tell us it would also give American trucking lines access to Mexico. (Canadian trucks already have unrestricted access to U.S. highways.) The belly-aching recalls to me about the removing feather-bedding rules from the railways! Free trade is fair; opening borders brings opportunities to all. We want to increase legal business hence allow free trade but built the wall against the cheaters!

Exactly right! As long as they have to abide by teh same rules, there is nothing wrong with Mexican trucks on our roads. I think the Mexicans are going to be rudely awakened by how Truckers are abused by states to raise revenue with appalling laws.

IMO we need competition to break up the transportation state/union paradigm. Especially with ports. The MExicans are building a big modern port which will compete with CAlifornian ports. Good.
