Brown Down: El desaparecido Americano
While spending my Labor Day morning by re-ordering the scattered papers on desk, I received an Instant Message from Townhaller and blog contributor, RWWOOD. He ask if I remembered the thread at the old Town Hall called BROWN DOWN? [Note: the link isn't the actual thread but a summary of the mystical death of Ron Brown] I do recall our constant scrambling our heads in fruitless attempts to figure out the doings of those Clintons.
Those self-described “open” and “an administration as good as America” Clintons whose main accomplishment was giving added fuel to any theory about their dirty deeds. I came to the conclusion that the Clintons were only just in public office for the cashing-in into their off-shore, numbered bank accounts and, it would have continued at public expense except for the interruption that fool algore caused them in 2000 by his failure to steal the election properly. The best explanation of the Bill and Hillary Clinton is of Eva and Juan Peron of Argentina. (ie., hum to the tune of “Don’t cry for Hillary, Amerika.”) The Peron story is one to re-read before next year’s election. Let’s keep the Clinton Story in the last century where it didn’t even belong there.
Thanks, Rod, for reminding me of the good, old days of Town Hall — I really need to get over to tedhall for more remembrances.
