TH-Gathering Minutes - Madison
Town Hall Four members attended at the University of Wisconsin @ Madison’s Union Terrace. Regular Order Old Business The light Coo-coo Train is still consuming the meeting as well as Madtown/Dane County politics. A protest movement has been created to thwart this government make-work project: C.A.V.E.M.A.N. (Citizens Against Voting for Endless Madison Area Nonsense). [Scribe Note: if there are no club-cars on this light rail then forget it.]

The Market Solves Everything: Colossus of Rhodey has a good idea. Since prominent liberals feel perfectly comfortable lecturing everybody else about how we all have to reduce our CO2 emissions while they fly private jets, maintain numerous — lavish — homes and in all other ways burn through a whole lot of carbon so long as they buy “carbon offsets,” perhaps closeted gay Republicans can buy “gay offsets” which would allow them to privately take the Nestea plunge into a lake of cabana boys so long as they cut a check to the “heterosexual” cause of their choice.
Before Regular Orders Adjourned it was discussed moving the regular meeting from first Tuesday of the month to another day. No decision was taken.
