When Liberals Go Marching In

It is the standard liberal dichotomy that has plagued liberal-hawks since Vietnam. Liberals are not comfortable with using force, the military culture or any of the gung ho ideas that are so needed to win a war. Nevertheless SOME liberals get the idea that the modern liberal state sometimes needs to be defended. But how can they fight and win, when fighting and winning are anathemas to modern liberalism. It is all part of the great liberal crack-up as David mentioned in a comment on one of my other posts.
