After two years of media’ complaint and Democrats’ political expediency of Bush’s failure to defend Louisiana, that State’s Governor Blanco opted not to run for re-election. CNN claims she was widely blamed for the state’s slow response to hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. If one was watching closely to the news since Katrina and Rita it was Bush who was widely blamed.
It seems the people of Louisiana did watched closely for their new Governor is a Republican.
