Happy All Hallow Eve


     Today is celebrated with fun-making and masquerading. It is summed up in the phrase “trick or treat.” Tomorrow is Hallowmas for people of my faith-tradition where we honor our canonized saints of whom are role models for us to follow and lead a better life.

     I am not writing this about halloween, neither secular nor religious feast-day, but about a special lady: Carol Gammill. She came to the old townhall when it became a part of the compuserve bulletin-board. I actually met her and her husband when they organized the first town hall gathering in the Chicago area. YOu can see us in the lower, left-hand corner in the picture below:
