Happy Holidays
What happened to the Princess you ask? Holidays happened! Thanksgiving, Chanukah, Christmas, (yes we celebrate both) Pacific Coast Sectionals and Junior Nationals for Pete’s sake. I still haven’t written the Young Prince newsletter I got no time to blog. I have put together two gift packs for the troops http://www.opgratitude.com/ and bought toys for the Salvation Army Giving Tree, salvationarmyusa.org
but the rest of Christmas needs to be done. So if I dont’ see you till New Year’s Merry Christmas and a Hilary Free New Year.
I had an idea you took off for the holidays around Thanksgiving. I should be grateful you didn’t also take off Halloween (it seems so many others have done that these days)! Perhaps, I need to make our RWWOOD as copy-editor which is something like the whip in Congress in order to maintain order.
I attempted to recognize Chanukah this year. XM radio again had a special channel to Chanukah of which I was listening for those eight days. While last winter in my Bible-study group we learnt about the revolt of the Israelites against those pesky Greeks who insisted on Zeus worshiping, when I said “Happy Chanukah” to my study-group I got a strange look and “oooooooookay.”
I hope Chanukah was joyous, AA. It is a feast we all must recall for the ancient Israelites taught us we can defeat the boobs wanting us to worship false gods — and the liberal gods are our zeuses to avoid today.
