townhall.com has a magazine now

Has anybody received the february issue of Townhall magazine in the mail? It is supposed to a premiere issue.

There are some interesting articles though it isn’t National Review in content. I know many of my Townhall friends who lasted tothe final days of old place in December of 2006 are quite bitter over being dumped rudely by townhall.com. In particular since they had a major fund raising campaign from its users then selling out to some californian radio concern. I wonder if this magazine deserves our support in light of their lack of it towards us?

townhall has always treated it’s loyal followers badly. Since the days when I truly was the TH Princess. Thos of you who don’t know that goes back to the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings, boy talk about your blast from the past. I dont’ even know why we call this blog Townhall, we should call it the Townhall refugees or perhaps the Towhnall dispossed.

As usual you are correct. I am that marginal member of the old TH since I always went along with their frequent changes until they abandon completely in 2006.

We were and are townhall though its management always forgot who this institution was set up for by Wm. F. Buchley back in 1991. The Jeane Allens of townhall.com seem to be looking toward using the forum to promote their own careers instead of the movement.

This weblog is called TOWN HALL because we are town hall.
