And Another Thing Rush
Rush was very happy to tell his listeners for which Dem to vote. But he would not endorse anyone in the GOP primaries. Rush was angry that McCain won the GOP nomination, but he refused to go to the mat for a more conservative candidate. Imagine if Rush had endorsed or even campagined for Senator Thompson. If he could get Republicans to vote in the Dem primary maybe he could have gotten them to vote conservative in the GOP primary.
Rush didn’t actually tell his viewers to vote for Mrs. Bill, he suggested we needed to keep the beast in the primaries as long as possible in order that the Democrats don’t have a nominee until Puerto Rico votes. Tell or suggest is a bit like Mr. Hillary’s plead “depends on what is is.”
