Rating My Predictions

I should have posted this after Nationals and here we are only 11 days till Worlds.  But unlike all the other bloggers who post their predictions and run away I will rate my own predictions and fess up where my prognostications have been failures.  Here is what I said way back in 2007.

Emily Hughes will manage to cheat enough jumps or break enough rules to stay on the podium at US Nationals, but fall out of the top ten at Worlds.  Kimmie Meissner will defend her title but Caroline Zhang will steal the show.

Okay well that was three wrong predictions right there.  Emily Hughes didn’t even compete at Nationals and if she had no amount of cheated jumps would have put her on the podium with Mirai Nagasu, Rachael Flatt and Ashley Wagner.  Kimmie Meissner did not defend her title, in fact she was 7th.  I thought she had finished with her meltdown at the Grand Prix Final but she had an even bigger meltdown in store at Nationals.  The poor kid my heart really goes out to her.   The show was stolen by an adorable 14 year old Southern Californian with almond eyes, but it was Mirai Nagasu not Caroline Zhang.

I am worried, all my predictions have failed miserably so far and I predicted Hilary will not be president.  Let us hope the young lady’s from Japan will step up and make my other predictions come true so I won’t look like such a bad Nostradamus.
