Told You So!
Ah so one of my predictions did come true, Mao Asada of Japan won the lady’s competition at the World Figure Skating Championships. Bravo Mao! I knew she would be World Champion one day the first time I saw her skate as a Junior back in 2004.
The pigs flying moment was a great one this morning when Jeffrey Buttle of Canada won the Men’s Title. Not even his biggest fans, and I am one of them, thought Jeffrey could pull off the World Championship. But he did, proving that beautiful edging and musical expression still have a place in this sport. Who would have thought it? Bravo Jeffrey!!
