Getting the Right Message Out There
Last Autumn, our Rightwingsparkle asked me to join Facebook as one of her friends. Since 1991, I have been the Young Werther of the townhall network. Of course, with this in mind, I accepted herFacebook membership-offer. This joining led me toward an interest in these social media spreading around the Internet; in particular, how can these social media be used to promote this web log better. With that idea in mind I had joined Twitter.
Recently I have been reminded that if a web site isn’t designated conservative it will quickly drift off into liberal. Historically, the masses chose the low road of entertainment. There are incorrigible sites demanding little of their readers; these sites allow wantonness that will lead to the liberticide of the site. Early members of townhall(.com) experienced the inclusion of personally, defined conservatives which led to bitter, intra-movement fights. The old townhall decline is a signpost of what libertine ways can do to a good idea. This is mentioned because I do not want it thought this web log is being opened to mindless, head-full-of-mush types. In contrast, we want those poor souls of public school eduction to read and to learn from us, perhaps, one day they will be contributors of the truth.
Establishing a beachhead with these social media is a good way to promote this web log. The Apple guru, Guy Kawasaki has found this new trend within the Internet. He started with others a portal of blogs called Alltop. Web logs which are unabashedly conservative should get listed here:
The three remaining candidates of the “major” political parties are linking their own campaign sites to social media such as Twitter:
