Learn From California
We the People don’t matter. Duly elected officials don’t matter. Life, Liberty and Property can be snatched at the whim of anyone who gets themselves a fancy black robe. Other than liberating Iraq and Afghanistan the longest effect that President Bush will have in this world will be Alito and Roberts.
If you want to keep what little bit of the Constitution we have don’t sit on your hands, don’t cast a protest vote, don’t join anyone’s chaos. Conservative judges are not a luxury we can afford to lose. If you can’t vote for McCain then vote against the Bader-Ginsburg that Obama/Clinton will find. Because We The People can go to the ballot box again and again and insist we want no affirmative action, no benefits for illegals, no gay marriage. And frankly my dear the guys in the robes just don’t give a damn. Liberal judges are despots and must be stopped. Without Conservative judges we are not a Democratic Republic.
It has been a bad week for us. Any body who didn’t get depressed watching our stupid party hasn’t been paying attention.
California is a strange place. William Smith in Sranger in a Strange Land must have landed there when he was brought back from Mars. I recall your fellow Californians claiming if their State were an independent nation it would be 3rd or 5th economic power in the world. HA! With your social programs and over-taxation and over-spending — Mexico would be higher! I love to remind Californians if they leave the Union the world bankers would gave the lion-share of the American national debt–so leave us.
Now, marriage is a mockery. I guess some Catholic gay couple, they exist, will sue the Church for not marrying them.
