Instapundit links to this excellent post pointing out that conservatives who think 4 years of Obama will be magically fixed by the next Reagan must be smoking the same dope that Obama so “enthusiastically” used in college.   http://rachellucas.com/index.php/2008/05/27/your-next-president-is-not-a-smart-man/    For one thing we still haven’t recovered from what Carter did to this country.  Carter welcomed the Ayatollah to Iran and convinced the Soviets that there was nothing to fear from the US so they went into Afghanistan.  We are still trying to get ourselves out that mess Carter started.  Imagine how much longer it will take for us to get out from whatever Obama, who is if anything more liberal than Carter, will get us into.    Some mistakes are a lot harder to correct than others.   The people who paid the highest price for Carter were the airmen and marines who died in the Desert One debacle.  Imagine what debacles the man who thinks we have 57 states is going to get us into?  Support Our Troops don’t let Obama in the White House.
