Liberating the island nation of Grenada seems kind of small in the grand scheme of winning the cold war. Nevertheless even the tiniest of President Reagan’s accomplishments has long lasting results. Here is a story of a young man born in the free island of Grenada who became a hero in the War on Terror, earning a Victoria Cross. Had Reagan allowed Grenada to remain a mini-Cuba the extraordinarily brave Lance Corporal Johnson Beharry would not have been there when his fellow soldiers needed him. It’s all good.
