Fukuyama Still At It

Fukuyama is at it again, once again defending his delusional ideas about the “end of history.”  In his latest he explains yet again http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/08/22/AR2008082202395.html why there is no serious challenger to liberal democracy and that history is on the side of Human Rights.

There are so many flaws in Fukuyama’s essay I don’t know where to start and don’t have the time anyway because of the aforementioned  festivities.  But to be all Instapundit about it and sum things up quickly:  All it takes for history to head in the direction of tyranny, is for everyone in liberal democracies to decide that democracy is ineveitable.  Or as he whose name I have stolen said “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for men of good will” to believe it is the End of History.
