Much of the substance of this election comes down to this question:
“do we want people with values like those held by the leadership of the American Library Association – in general – and Judith Flint and Amy Grasmick – in particular – to be in control of this country and guiding its children?

This breaks my heart. I loved the librarians at the Linda Vista Library when I was growing up. I got to know them well and thought of them as friends. How sad to see this once fine profession abandon the ones who need them most.
