Have You Forgotten
Today the Young Prince and I went down to San Diego to attend the 9/11 ceremony at the Civic Center: http://photos.signonsandiego.com/080911memorials
The ceremony was sparsely attended as was the one we attended last year. It isn’t very surprising that in the middle of a work day few people have time to sit and listen to a bag pipe play Amazing Grace. But we will always take the time to remember this day and remember what happens every time our nation puts our feet up and decides to take a vacation from history. History is a harsh mistress.
