In what should have been a out-partys' year historically, the Financial Times reported congressional Democratics fear Obama may screw up their chances to gain seats and perhaps to retain the '06 electoral gains. After all, the Obama ticket is warmed-over '72 McGovernism. Although McGovern promised $1k to every man, woman, and child causing actor John Wayne to joke he chased then Democrat's candidate so to get his $1k, Obama promised $1k as a targeted tax credit.
