As a genuine member of the non-Christian American community I hereby give permission to all my readers to use the phrase “Merry Christmas.” I also allow you to call all the festive December gatherings you attend “Christmas Parties.” If anyone threatens to prosecute you for a hate crime because you used the most deplored word in the English language, you may tell them a genuine Jewish person of gender said it was okay. Print this out and take it with you wherever you go, it may save you a lawsuit.
