Just a few days ago I called for a new Judah Maccabee to free Israel from Palestinian terror http://marlettsmith.com/blog/index.php/2008/12/23/chanukah-musings/ Now the IDF has launched an attack on Hamas.
Well in that case I call for a new Adam Smith to teach the California state legislators that you can’t tax if you drive the tax base away. I call for a new George Washington to teach the whole whining nation not to depend on the kindness or good will of other nations. I call for a new John Adams to teach President Obama that inequality is the natural and unavoidable state of man. And I call for a new Edmund Burke to teach every liberal and libertarian that freedom without responsibility makes men slaves to their appetites and the appetites of others.
