Bush Says Farewell to Press
This morning President George W. Bush gave his last press conference. It was a gentle meeting between the President and the members of press. Bush teased the press with re-cycling an old coinage of his, he told them that they usually misunderestimated him.
I enjoyed that the President said he would ask Congress to release the second $350 billion if the next president ask him to do so. Barack ask Bush today. T.A.R.P. (Bailout One) is Barack’s political debit now.
The President said he put his free-market principles on hold because the experts told him otherwise the financial panic of ’08 may become worse than the great depression. Did it occured to Mr. Bush that experts, domestric and glorbal, told him there were WMDs in Iraq? While removing Iraq as a safe-house for these terrorists is a good and proper liberation, perhaps, he should had recall during the panic last year experts are not perfect. His forgetting has given the American socialists, the Democrat party, the excuse to run wild with the Constitution of 1787 evermore and to destroy everfurther the national currency.
Overall, I will missed President Bush. He was a strong war-time leader with a minority population with loud, reign of terror hate toward him. Mr. Bush had never got down into the mud with his haters. He remained a gentleman through these eight years. He thank the press for their service. Bush is a mensch.
