Did it Count on Tuesday?

I wish I could tell you that it did not count. I wish my Blackberry had the ability to transport (ala star trek) me to warmer climates. Sorry, but Tuesday’s oath swear-in counted.

The new White House lawyer-in-chief suggest the 44th President re-swear the oath of office. The Chief Justice placed ‘faithfully’ at the end of clause instead of before the verb. The re-taking was done so they would be in accord with [?] constitutional law.

It seem they are being TOO legalistic.

It counted the first time. There was no need to re-take the oath. President Hoover didn’t re-take despite Chief Justice Taft replacing ‘protect’ with ‘maintain.’ I conclude the new office of president think and do extra legal means — they need dotted i and crossed t — hence they need legal over-protection.

These four years will be a financial boom for lawyers.
