Tea Party – Oceanside CA

Yesterday we went to the Tea Party held in Oceanside, CA.  There was quite a decent turnout.  We met in front of City Hall, then followed a dump truck loaded with (simulated) tea down to the beach to be dumped into the water. (For all you eco-libs out there – it was sand, not real tea.  No beaches were harmed in the making of this protest.)  Afterwards they took a group picture to be sent to Congress along with the petition we all signed.  Local news estimated attendance at around 2000 (http://tinyurl.com/c87n6t).

Here are a few pictures.

These young people want to know why their money is already being spent by the government.

At the beach. Notice the people still on the walkway in the background.

There were cold 31 MPH winds blowing last night, that’s why everyone’s in jackets, such a shame. If we had some babes in bikinis Instapundit would have linked to our site
