@deansms I will turn my profile green IF the Iranian opposition party/protesters declare Israel’s right to exist and they recognise Israel.
It is not that I don’t think the Iranian protest is encouraging, it is just that I am wondering what exactly are they encouraging? Can we please remember the last Iranian Revolution? It gave the world the Islamic fascism of the Mullahs. It gave the world a state that has sponsored terrorism as far away as Argentina. As we conservatives kept trying to tell people last year not all change is good. Mousavi created Hezbollah and the Iranian nuclear program.
On the other hand Obama’s de facto support is for the Mullahs. His tepid “concern” is tantamount to a dismissal of the protesters and an embrace of the Mullahs. That isn’t right either. But blindly supporting a protest without knowing the consequence of that protest is how we got into this mess in the first place. So until Mousavi takes a stand against terror and attacks on Israel, I say a pox on both their houses.
