REFLECTIONS

Boy it’s quiet aroud here, too quiet.  Tweeting is too quick and easy it’s like eating junk food instead of cooking dinner yourself.  Thinking out a blog post, putting a thesis into words and supporting it with evidence?  Who has the time?  

Besides what is there to say: Abortion is a sacred medical procedure that must be only between a woman and a doctor, but cures for cancer must be approved by a bureaucrat in D.C?   Obama is a fascist trying to get government to control every aspect of our lives?  If you didn’t see that coming you must have been pulling the wool over your own eyes.  Obama’s convention speech was Dukakis redeux with a snazzy Greek temple; tax and spend and tax and spend and tax.  Obama said he was going to take over college education and health care.  Obama assured us he would double the cost of electricity.  This whole Obama misled us about being far-left is absurd.  Obama in interviews and speeches told us he was a far left statist determined to expand government to Mussolini status.  He recited a list of programs that had fascism written all over it and Jonah Goldberg wrote a nice little book explaining to us what that means http://www.amazon.com/Liberal-Fascism-American-Mussolini-Politics/dp/0767917189/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1247417076&sr=8-1  

Since Jan. 20 Obama’s approval numbers have been high even as the public disapproves of all his policies.   The country hates everything the man does, but loves the man.  We are a nation of battered wives “can’t help loving that fascist of mine.”  But we are not being mislead or lied to.  We demanded a mere human to fix our lives heal our past and give us purpose.  We are being punished for placing our faith in false idols.  We deserve it.
