He Who Laughs Last, Laughs Best
My PU (Princeton University) nephew facebooked yesterday, “like him or not, there is way too much hating on our president going on today for something he had no control over.” Although I wish he had learnt that lesson a bit earlier in this century, his political cohorts made and are still making hateful noises of this present-administration’s immediate predecessor.
Our @BurkeanMama reminds us to STOP LAUGHING! While @marcambinder observed that “Twitter is…killing topical standup comedy; all the funny Obama / Nobel jokes were tweeted by 11am Friday,” this administration is not laughing and t-v standup comics last night were rather tame over Nobel-gate. Our joking about our dear leader’s head is so big now his ears finally match as Rush teased on Friday may have a serious cost to our liberty. These rulers get even.
