REFLECTIONS

I hate calling the President of the USA stupid because it makes me sound like a liberal.  But surely there is nothing stupider in the history of warfare than announcing to the enemy that in 18 months you are leaving?  Imagine how much Hitler would have loved such an announcement from FDR in 1942.  Democrats were bad then, but they weren’t stark raving mad. 

This is why I pulled my support for the War on Terror months ago.  http://marlettsmith.com/blog/index.php/2009/09/22/i-surrender/  This President is not wise enough to send pawns into battle on a chess board, let alone flesh and blood people into combat against an enemy so viscous they use 1 year old babies as human bombs.  http://sayanythingblog.com/entry/bhutto_confirms_that_the_bomb_meant_for_her_was_strapped_to_a_baby/

The Taliban get Afghanistan back in 2011, that much Obama has let us know.  The only question now is how many American soldiers will die in this exercise in futility?   May God protect the US military.  Their Commander in Chief certainly will not.
