Climategate: Who’s The Rube?
Last night my Brer-Tiger, who is an engineer and has some working familiarity with scientific method, and I were discussing climategate. I said this is what happens when scientists let themselves become tools of politicians. Brer- Tiger laughed at that and said it was more likely that the politicians were tools of the scientists. He pointed out to me that all this fixed up data was worth millions to the scientists. So they may just as easily been playing the politicians as the other way around.
Which leads us to the eternal question, which came first the disregard for the scientific method or the ransacking of taxpayers money?
It is age-old fault of fools that they think their taking money from the king (government in any form) that they will never be control by the king. If one plays with pigs you get as dirty as the pigs but the pigs are the only one to enjoy the dirt. Science became corrupt with accepting tax money. Sell N.A.S.A. to the Burton Brothers.
