I want to Re-Name The Blog
Most of our readers probably don’t know the origin of our blog’s name. Townhall nowadays is an internet web site very different from the Townhall originally launched by National Review and the Heritage Foundation during the George H.W. Bush administration. It was at the original site that our illustrious web master and I first met. But that is a very long story I am not going to tell now I will get to my point.
The “Townhall” name went on to be used by Townhall.com and they have their own blog separate from ours. I think we need a new name, separate from that old name and sight. We are completely independent here of the social network in which we first met. Just as our nation declared a new name with its independence, we should as well. All in favor of a new name say “aye.”
Since the Obama administration is determined to destroy the liberties we have all taken for granted and throw us into the serfdom of the nanny state, my idea for a new blog name is “Reflections On The attempted Revolution in the United States.” Or just Reflections.
