Are All Liberals Racist?
Well I think so. But I was rather surprised to find this definition of racism on Ann Althouse’s blog
If by “racist” you mean somebody who would use other people’s feelings about race in a purely instrumental way to amass political power, then Harry Reid is a racist.

If that is the definition of racism then all supporters of affirmative action and any other racial set aside are racist. I always believed that a government policy which assumes black students can’t perform as well as white students, and must be compensated for that lack of performance, is as insultingly racist as any slave owner saying “them darkies can’t take care of themselves.” I am just shocked to find an Obama voter agreeing with me. I feel as if someone shook up the snow globe that is the blog-o-sphere and sent everything flying every which way.
