REFLECTIONS

We all would like to think we would hide a young girl from the Nazis.  But risking death is so much easier in the abstract.  For Miep Gies it was real life and death choice, and she chose the noble choice we all hope we would make.   The girl she hid died at 15.  But Miep Gies lived till 100 to bear witness and tell the story.   And now the angels will bear witness to their reunion.  RIP to a good and righteous woman.
