REFLECTIONS

Considering how little good my endorsement did Duncan Hunter, Chuck DeVore should probably sue me for this.  Nevertheless I am officially endorsing State Assemblyman Devore for the Republican Nomination to challenge Senator Bimbo Boxer in November. 

Assemblyman DeVore has managed to stay fiscally conservative at that least fiscally conservative place, the California state assembly.  He is committed to border security and he recognizes the value of all human life.  Every fiscal conservative/social liberal California ever elected quickly jettisoned the fiscal conservatism to appease their social liberal buddies.  Wherever you stand on social issues Gov. Schwarzenegger should have taught you “social liberal” is just another word for sticking it to the taxpayers.  If you want sensible economic policies don’t trust anyone trying to appeal to liberals about anything.   One thing we should have learned this century, we don’t need “compassionate conservatives” or “social liberal conservatives” or anything but genuine get the government off the country’s back conservatives.  Someone who feels the need to modify their conservatism is not the real thing.  Chuck DeVore is the real thing.
