Supremacy Clause has been in the news again by the Obama Justice Department’s suit against Arizona’s law 1070.
Article VI Clause 2 of the Constitution
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof… under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.
This article reminds us to turn to our history for how to fight off the present danger of tyranny. Wisconsin’s Declaration of Defiance may be a very useful guideline for defunding and desisting the spending into poverty.
