If you loathe the Constitution for the flaws it once contained, how can you in honesty take an oath to protect and preserve it? If you took the oath only to obtain the office, but hold the Constitution in contempt, then your office and your service is a fraud.

The guys at Powerline are really on the ball this week. They are right, it is a fine thing to see liberals attack the Constitution. These attacks are the first true words we have heard from liberals in a while. Not that I would question their patriotism though, nope not me. They love America, they just hate America’s history, America’s constitution, America’s language, America’s literature and all that is essentially and uniquely American, but they love America.
