Apologize Governor
Gov. Perry’s support of in-state tuition for illegal aliens is a mistake. But no one mistake will keep me from voting for someone. No what makes Gov. Perry unacceptable is his defense. He gave his reasons for his position and that was all he needed to do. But he had to add that anyone who disagrees with him “has no heart.”
If I wanted demagoguery, personal attacks and plays to emotion I would be a liberal. If I thought governors should make decisions based on feelings rather than rational thought I would be having leg tinkles with Chris Mathews. Sean Hannity completely let Perry off the hook about his leftie worthy demagoguery today. But Gov. Perry doesn’t merely have to explain his stance on in-state tuition, he has to explain why he insulted every Republican voter who disagrees with him. And by the way Gov. Perry I would guess that more Republicans agree with me rather than you.
Where is President Reagan to remind us that “thou shalt not speak ill of our fellow Republican?” Especially the ones we are trying to get to vote for us. Gov. Perry will not have my vote till I get his apology.
