Our Light Shall Remain Burning

Thank you, Town Hallers, for your coming together here to fight the good fight this past one and half years. The cause of liberty is never finished; the forces to control mankind will continue. Win or lose today we learn our fate. Either we must fight the crippling dependence of socialism/fascism or, we fight to [...]

On Leftist Elitism

Without any doubt within a year into an Obama presidency, or even a Mrs. Bill Clinton presidency despite her attempt to appear common by downing a shot-and-beer, it shan’t be just rural America who will be bitterly frustrated.

Bob Clarke, R.I.P.

In MemoriamRobert James ClarkeJune 28, 1953 - January 1, 2008Our fellow Town Haller @ CompuServe
With the frequent townhall.com changes in their website, we all suffered by losing touch with each other then we learn the actual lost of one of us — the separation become a true lost. I apologies for the lateness of this [...]

WFB jr Rest in Peace

Lord, May William F. Buckley, jr. have a quick repose to your side. Lord hear our prayers for this great writer and thinker of the 20th Century. We pray to the Lord. Amen.

Will ‘08 be about Issues?

Or just about luke-warm, but passionate statements of substance-less popular wishfullness for hope?
We now know Mccain shan’t challenge Barry Hussein Obama on the issues. He will challenge anybody to play nice a la Bob Dole except to any Conservatives who will vote and support him. I have listened to Bill Cunningham; his Ohion radio show [...]

Conservative Republicans Twittering

Last Thursday night as I was reading National Review’s Campaignspot about the Iowa caucus, Hewitt was mentioned as reporting on it from Twitter.com where I found this weblog called techRepublican. [see the list of weblogs in the sidebar on the right.]
By the way, I’m dean_m or DeanSMS at twitter.

Administrating Duties

Hartman e-mailed me this morning with the suggestion that the meta for logging-in and for registering to this web log should be at the top of the side-bar. As you can see to your right, I took the suggestion. Maybe this quick response to feedback shall lay to rest any idle-talk of my distant attitude. [...]

Welcome to the New Year: 2008!

Now, the fun begins. This Thursday we get to see how the political party members think of their candidates. I write this on the Thursday before Christmas day when President Bush gave his last press conference for the 2007. If he had performed for the last seven years as he did in this last press [...]

U.F.O. Spotted Over TOWN HALL weblog

Rep. Dennis Kucinich has been eliminated as a suspect. While co-42nd.-president/Senator Hillary Clinton-Rodham was also considered a person of interest in this sighting when it was “falsely” leaked about TOWN HALL weblog having a copy of her believed-controversial and self-banned, collegian senior-thesis — she was dropped. Rumors of a fly-over by ace navy-pilot/Senator John [...]

Let Freedom Ring, Forever

To begin this version of Dictum/Town Hall we first take time to honor those who give their lives to preserve and to protect our liberties. A Virginian planter serving the American Congress as the Commanding General, George Washington reflected upon the danger of fighting for freedom six months before thirteen out of fourteen British colonies [...]

Administrador

The '08 elections in the United States are expected to be more bitter and nasty than those of 1800's, 1824's, 1860's & 2000's (to name a few.) For this reason, Dictum has been renamed as Town Hall and it has become a multi-authored web log. Under either name, its purpose is to glean and attempt to post upon the intrusiveness in vogue through the law, culture, and social frameworks which effect contemporary society. This intrusiveness is a public nuisance from a political mindset of misplaced charity trying to equal results between unequal talents but effectively spreading misery all around. Town Hall will attempt to expose without grossness those who are trying to immanentize the Eschaton. The name of Town Hall was originated by Wm. F. Buckley, jr. of National Review in 1991 for his Conservative Republican readers in order to connect their computers to promote the Conservative Movement. This cyber movement of Conservatives made it way to the Internet as townhall.com. With the purchase of Internet-townhall in early 2006 many of its Conservative users were left adrift from the message boards and chat rooms that at various times were the Sprint VAX/Mac computers, the Compuserve private forum, and the recent chat rooms, soapboxes, "meetups," TownSquares. Town Hall wishes to re-unite us in our various groups into a central point of coordination to Stop the coprolalia of the Left-wing.
