If Steyn and O’Sullivan sound paranoid about free speech, I say look around.  It isn’t paranoia to notice the left is out to get you.

The internet is abuzz with discussion of the “new” racial tensions.  While strolling through the articles I came across this test for racism.  https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/demo/featuredtask.html  I took it because I was curious about the test itself.  I found out I am not a racist, which I already knew.   Actually the exact words are:

Your data suggest little to no difference in implicit preference between White People and Black People.

This didn’t surprise me, I know who I am and what I believe.  I am immune to white guilt because I know I am not a racist.  I often wonder about those “tolerant” liberals who make every political decision based on race.  What goes on in their bleeding, liberal hearts that gives them so much guilt.

As far as my own neutral about race heart.  Let me tell you about the time I deliberately, carefully  profiled a group of black males, and felt relieved and even safer.

I was in Detroit for the 1997 Skate America competition.  I would have gone to the back of the moon to see Michelle Kwan debut her Lyra Angelica Program.  Usually I traveled around the city with my skating buds, but for some reason I was all alone on the city’s People Mover, taking a 25 min. route around the city to the arena.  I was in a city with a lot of crime all by myself, and yes feeling a bit nervous about that.  There was no one but me on the train when three black males, each taller than my own 5’4″self, came aboard and I felt relieved.

Why?  Because the group was two teenage boys, and their dad.  They were carrying shopping bags and looked like a Norman Rockwell painting “back to school shopping with dad.”  They were one of Burke’s “little platoons.”  All I knew about these men was their skin color was different than mine, and their family status was the opposite of the one I had growing up.  Two teenage boys under the supervision of an involved father and a father living up to his responsibilities, that is as safe as you can get in America.  I had no reason to fear any of these black males.  Furthermore I was sure the presence of the rather large dad, would act as an impediment should any thug, white or black, board the train.

Crime in America is not a matter of color but lack of fathers.  Growing up without a father, watching many fatherless, white boys become criminals, I learned at a very young age, what it has taken social scientists decades to find out.  Every study ever done shows that lacking a father is the greatest predictor to whether a child will turn to crime.  If either of the two teenagers on that train with me had ever thought of joining a gang I am sure their father put a stop to it ASAP!   That’s why I never thought for a moment that any of those black males would harm me.

Being free of all the liberal platitudes about one family type being equal to other family types, I am free to make judgments based on experience.  It is upbringing and nurturing that makes a child a public threat, not skin color.  In refusing to admit that illegitimacy is a plague on our society, liberals, who always cause what they claim to condemn, force everyone to make judgments based on other factors, like the color of one’s skin.

Ahah you say what if it had just been the two teenage black boys without an adult supervisor, then would you have been scared.  Probably not, they were neatly dressed, polite and quiet.  Loud, rowdy teenagers, dressed in the sloppy, oversized clothing of our day alarm me, whether they are white, black or purple.

I never spoke to the three men in Detroit though they were on the train as long as I.  In fact when they came aboard they deliberately sat as far away from me as they could.  I was a tiny, white woman in a silk sweater riding around downtown Detroit.  The dad probably thought I was looking for drugs and he didn’t want his sons around me.  If the dad profiled me as trouble, I don’t mind.  He was doing his job.  That’s why I knew I had nothing to fear.

 The president……  has apparently offered Israel sweeteners for delaying any strike against Tehran’s nuclear facilities until after the election. FromThe New York Post:

The President’s lack of concern for Israel is not disturbing, I take that for granted.  The President’s lack of concern for the USA also not disturbing.  The President’s utter lack of understanding of the country he has inflicted himself upon that disturbs me.   Why would President Obama imagine it will help him win re-election to hold Israel back?  Does Obama actually imagine the whole country hates Isreal as much as he does.

For this naked political calculation to work, Obama has to imagine Israel attacking Iran will hurt his re-election.  How is this possible?  I would imagine that whatever Israel does won’t effect the vote of 99% of Americans.  I can not imagine a country sitting around saying “well the economy stinks but I am going to vote for Obama unless Israel attacks Iran.”

To think like this Obama must not only hold Israel in contempt; he must hold the American voter in contempt.  On the other hand the American voter gave this incompetent, corrupt Chicago, Marxist the Presidency.  So the American voter is contemptible.

Oh and brat is the right word for future left-wing lawyer Fluke.  Not the “s” word or the “p” word or “wh” word.  The “s” word is a grown woman who says I don’t care what your rules are I am going to live my life as I see fit and handle the consequences.   You don’t have to respect their way of life to respect their freedom to live that way.    Someone whining to Congress that the World’s Second Oldest religion needs to pay for their choices doesn’t even deserve that much respect.

Meanwhile a point of order here.  It was just a year ago that the most pressing issue facing a country fighting three wars, with a trillion dollars in debt every year, a Senate that won’t pass a budget and a President who wants to lead from behind, was the funding of Planned Parenthood.  We had to fund Planned Parenthood because otherwise woman couldn’t afford birth control.  Planned Parenthood, which receives hundreds of millions from private donors AND the US Taxpayers, was absolutely essential so brats like Fluke could have “reproductive freedom.”   (Don’t get me stated on that leftist canard.)   Now of course with Planned Parenthood fully funded by the US taxpayers, that still isn’t enough.  There is so much canoodling going on this country millions in tax dollars can’t cover it and we have to force the Catholic Church to pony up.

So last year the taxpayers had to pay for other people’s birth control, and this year the Catholic Church has to pay for other people’s birth control and I assume next year we invade Canada and insist they start paying for our birth control.

Meanwhile Iran inches toward the bomb.

 And Republicans? They are busy debating the pros and cons of birth control

This is the same lie I heard from liberals this morning insisting that Republicans were using Freedom of Religion to stop “Women’s Rights.”

Republicans of course are trying to stop a government mandate that would require Religious organizations to pay for other people’s birth control and abortifacient.   No one is trying to ban the pill, no one is debating the pill.  Some Republicans just think it would be a good idea if everyone paid their own way.  Remember when libertarians were against government mandates?  Neither do I.  But the libertarian’s willingness to jump aboard this liberal lying bandwagon just proves how damaging pot is to the brain.
